Health Integration Teams are set up to improve care in Bristol, North Somerset and South Gloucestershire. They work across our partnership to tackle some of the critical health and care challenges people in our region face.

Lots of organisations in the region are involved in health and care research.

Bristol Health Partners helps make the most of our local research strengths through uniting academia, health and care services, public health and system planning and decision-making. We apply science to service delivery and improvement, so that change is more effective and more likely to succeed.

We feed this into our local Healthier Together Integrated Care System through a Research & Innovation Steering Group.

Quote from data import

"Every child’s death is a tragedy and when a child dies suddenly the family desperately needs to know what happened. "This report is unique in two ways. It is the first national report to have investigated all unexpected deaths of infants and children – not just those that remained unexplained. And it is also the first national review of the 'multi-agency investigation process' into unexpected deaths. "One striking finding is that in the unexpected deaths of children between one and 17 years old there is a high incidence of a family history of convulsions. Inexplicably it is as strong for those children whose deaths are fully explained by an underlying medical condition as for those whose death remains unexplained. "What this tells us is that research in this area is now a priority. It is crucial that we identify those factors which contribute to unexpected death in children over one year old."

Therefore, I saw that here was a sort of interregnum in Providence; for its even-handed equity never could have so gross an injustice. And yet still further pondering—while I moved him now and then from between the whale and ship, which would threaten to jam him—still further pondering.

I say, I saw that this situation of mine was the precise situation of every mortal that breathes; only, in most cases, he, one way or other, $c docker inlinecode block has this Siamese connexion with a plurality of other mortals. If your banker breaks, you snap; if your apothecary by mistake sends you poison in your pills, you die.
